What we Do

Unicom Education offers an extensive range of special needs resources from both Australia and overseas. We are continually researching the very best materials available to help both students, educators, parents and other specialists. Our resources include long established favourites, as well as the latest materials and titles. Refer to our Resources page for further details. In 2006, Unicom was acquired by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER).

OUR SERVICES

Our distinctive feature is our personalised service. We aim to assist you find the materials you are searching for. We carry a large stock of resources from all of our suppliers which enables us to process the majority of our orders quickly.

OUR PEOPLE

Education Consultant (Mrs.) Shane Thompson. Shane has a Diploma of Teaching from Kuring-gai College of Advanced Education in Sydney and a Bachelor of Education from Deakin University in Victoria. She has a wide range of primary and middle school teaching experience in both government and non-government schools in New South Wales , Victoria and West Australia as well as international teaching experience in Papua New Guinea and Indonesia . This experience has included specific teaching roles in ESL and with children with learning difficulties. She is an Accredited tutor with the Dyslexia - Speld Foundation WA (Inc).
